An order all the way from India

About 10 days ago…

A customer from India sent me an e-mail requesting us to make a BAD LAND original Girder Fork for his Triumph Thunderbird.

While this is possible, we must have the actual model to work with. So we e-mailed him saying, if you are really serious about making Girder Fork, you need to send us Triumph Thunderbird’s Triple Tree and Front Wheel, as well as Brake Calipers, as we currently don’t have an actual Triumph Thunderbird with us. Then we received these parts via DHL the other day.

We were amazed how much bikers around the world share the passion for customizing their rides. I remembered how I used to import parts from the US and Europe over 20 years ago. We are committed in making the best Girder Fork ordered Girder Fork all the way!

はるばる、インドから到着。。。

10日程前、インドのお客様より『私のTriumph Thunderbird用に、BAD LANDオリジナルのガーターフォークを造って欲しい』との内容のメールを頂きました。

製作をさせて頂く事は可能だか、現物合わせで作業を進めなくてはならず、もし、本当にガーターフォークを造りたいのならば、我々の手元には現在、Triumph Thunderbirdの現車が無いので、あなたのTriumph Thunderbirdに装着されているトリプルツリーとフロントホィール一式、それにブレーキキャリパーをこちらに送って欲しいとの旨のメールを送った所、先日、それらのパーツ一式がDHLにより届けられました。

バイク乗りのカスタムに賭ける情熱は、これは世界何処も同じなんだと… そんな事を実感しつつ、確かに、20数年前の私も、今回と同様にアメリカや、ヨーロッパからパーツを輸入したり、またフレームなどを造っても貰ったりしていた訳でありますから。。。とにかく、我々の仕事にご期待を頂き、こうしてパーツ製作のオーダーを頂きました故、最高の出来栄えとなりますガーターフォークをお届けさせて頂こうと思っている次第です。
