This was a very fun project for us.
It’s rare we get a request to produce a SPORTSTER custom,
which is why this job was fresh work for us.
The owner’s wish was for us to do it in a style proposed by Taiwan’s ROUGH CRAFTS.
So what’s the verdict? As you can see, it has quite a manly form, don’t you think?
The wheel we used at the Front is a SPORTSTER OEM rear wheel.
In order to be able to move it to the front, we had to process the wheel hub.
The main issue was the hub had too much overhang,
and at that size it couldn’t be installed on the front fork.
So we had to shave about 15mm from the length of the hub, both left and right.
We changed the wheel bearing to its current size.
Then we were able to install it as a Bolt-On!!
